Fantastic fun was had on this winter ascent during the wildly successful Winter SOTAfest.

After climbing the summit that my Gaia GPS listed as the Lovejoy Buttes, SOTAgoat said the actual highpoint was a mile to the west.

Despite a windy forecast I brave this blustery summit.

I return to a local favorite to try out my new APRS capabilities and I get treated to a QSO with S57S in Slovenia among others.

A joyous frenzy of summit-to-summit contacts on the Zulu New Year – and my 99th and 100th SOTA activations!

A muddy walk in between drenching winter storms

I was going to do Parker Mountain near Acton, but a high wind forecast sent me into the Chino Hills

Dodging all manner of gunfire, I activate this desert summit.

I return to Table Mountain after getting kicked off the summit last time.

I originally intended to do San Emigdigo and Cerro Noroestre, but the warning light came on the dash of my old Audi, Pfeffernusse.
